New Chuckwagon Dinners are the Ultimate Western Experience

There are a few things about Jackson Hole that define the experience of living or visiting here. First, the Teton views! Whether you’re seeing the Tetons for the first time or the millionth time, the view of the jagged mountain range takes your breath away every time and changes from day to day with the season, weather and time of day. Second, Jackson Hole has a completely unique western flair that almost transports you to a different time – when cowboys and campfires, wagons and general stores were still the norm.
If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind experience that combines the best of Jackson (Teton views and western culture) look no further than Spring Creek Ranch’s Western BBQ at the Sage Overlook. Just 10 minutes from town and 1,000 feet above the valley floor the Sage Overlook offers Teton views that you won’t get anywhere else. And for the full western experience, the chuckwagon dinner is a must.

Wagon Rides with a View

There’s something about being on a horse-pulled wagon that brings you immediately back to the “Old West”. Between the stories from the wrangler and the ranch and Teton views, the wagon ride at Spring Creek Ranch is unlike any other in the valley.

Western BBQ Dinner at the Overlook

Most chuckwagon dinners keep it pretty basic with meat, beans and biscuits. At the Overlook you’ll be treated to a gourmet, western BBQ inspired meal with upscale BBQ meats, fresh salad, blueberry chipotle cornbread and let’s not forget the cowboy favorite – beans! Plus, don’t forget the mason jar beverage bar! Dinner takes place in an intimate canvas tent with Teton views, and the red and white checked table cloths, tin camp plates, picnic table and white lights set the mood for what feels like the perfect dinner party.

Campfire with S’mores + Live Cowboy Music

Whether you’re camping or fine dining, when you’re out west no dinner is complete if you don’t cap it off with s’mores around the campfire. This age-old tradition is made even better when you add perfect Teton views to watch the sun set and the stars come out. Only one thing’s left to make this scene all you could hope for – authentic western cowboy music to set the mood, allow you to reflect on an evening well spent and drift back to the “Old West.”

Only in Jackson Hole can you get a truly western experience like this, and only at Spring Creek Ranch’s Sage Overlook do you have the perfect setting for views, food and memories for an evening you’ll never forget!
Sage Overlook is open for Western BBQ Chuckwagon Dinner 6 PM Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
