Nature Hike
Cost: Adults: $75 per person. Children 12 and under: $55. Service Charge Extra. Private hikes available.
Dates: Departure times: Typically anytime between 6-10 am or 2-6 pm depending on season.
Accompany a Spring Creek Ranch’s naturalist on a morning, afternoon, or evening nature walk here on East Gros Ventre Butte (Spring Creek Ranch Property) from May through October.
Private hikes are also available.
This is normally a two-mile hike that will be easy walking and take about two hours. However, it can be flexible and curated according to your interests.
We will bring binoculars and field guides and you will learn about the plants and animals that inhabit the wildlife preserve on which Spring Creek Ranch is located. You will also learn about other iconic wildlife, such as bears, wolves, moose, and elk, etc., as well as the National Elk Refuge, cultural history, geology, and founding of Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park.
This is a wonderful hike to enjoy all of this along with expansive views of Jackson Hole, the National Elk Refuge, and the Gros Ventre and Teton Mountain Ranges from the wildlife preserve atop Spring Creek Ranch Property. This is a perfect activity for individuals, couples, the entire family, or groups.
Cost: Normal Hike: Adults: $75 per person. Children 12 and under: $55 per child. Curated or private hikes are priced accordingly…please inquire with the Spring Creek Ranch Naturalist or Concierge.
Capacity: 1-14 people. Minimum two-person fee for single booking. Please inquire for groups larger than 7 people.
Departure Times from Guests’ Accommodations at Spring Creek Ranch:

- Summer season (15 May – 15 September): Start times: Morning Hikes typically start anytime between, 6:00 – 9:00 am; Dusk Hikes typically start anytime between 4 – 6 pm
- Fall season (16 September – 31 October): Start times: Morning Hikes typically start anytime between 7:00 – 10:00 am; Dusk Hikes typically start anytime between 2 – 4 pm
Duration:
- Average duration of hike: 2 hours depending on guests’ interests, weather, etc. Can be shortened or extended depending on guests interests (extra fees may apply).
