Hiking

Grand Teton National Park and the national forests surrounding Jackson Hole provide an abundance of hiking options for all levels of adventurer. Whether your goal is to experience challenging terrain, scenic views, wildlife or wildflowers, there’s a trail that can take you there!

Spring Creek Ranch can recommend the right guide services that offer hikes to unique areas in the Tetons and beyond with instruction on flowers, geology, birds, mammals, and history of the area. Guides can cater to all levels of physical ability with the most common hikes having distances of 4 to 6 miles, with twelve-mile hikes available for the avid hiker.

If you’re looking to hike without a guide, the staff at Spring Creek Ranch is a great resource for recommending the right trail for you. A few of our favorites include Phelps Lake (easy), the Bradley Taggart Lake Loop (moderate) and Sleeping Indian (difficult).
