Spring Time in Jackson Hole

Spring is coming to Jackson Hole and the ice fishing is all but over. While ice is still present on most lakes in the area, the rivers are flowing and the river access ramps are open and it’s time to put away the ice rods for my favorite fly rod. I got the boat out of storage last week and headed over to Idaho to see how the South Fork of the Snake was fishing. The sun warmed up the water in the afternoon and the fishing improved.

All in all a great day on the river. This weekend will be the Snake River in Jackson. Keep you posted on what happens. Get out there and wet a line. You can stop by Snake River Angler to grab your license and flys before heading out. See ya on the water!
