How to Ring in the New Year in Jackson Hole

Ring in the New Year, Jackson Hole style! Snow is falling, stars are twinkling, and 2021 is nearly over. The holidays in Jackson Hole are second to none, but New Year’s Eve is the most festive of all. After a worthy day of skiing, watch the fireworks from wherever you are and dance until your shoes fall off at one of our town’s many celebrations. 

 

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort

 

Outdoor Fireworks: Fireworks will begin to show their colors at 6:00pm. Make sure you get a front row seat by viewing from the parking lot east of the Tram Tower and Ski Pass office.

Mangy Moose: Celebrate the beginning of 2022 at The Mangy Moose Saloon with live music by Salt Lake City’s energetic Changing Lanes Band and a complimentary glass of bubbly. To get loose at the Moose, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance at Etix. 

Continuum Hotel: Ring in the New Year the Continuum way with DJ “KnewJack” Caitlin. Free entry from 9pm-1am includes a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Looking for something more? Purchase a VIP ticket for $150 to access an all you can drink premium package, private bar access, party favors and light food bites. 

 

 

Downtown Jackson Hole

 

Outdoor Fireworks: Fireworks will begin at  7:30p.m. If you are staying in downtown Jackson, WY, taking a walk to the base of Snow King Mountain will be worth your while to watch the fireworks explode across the dark night sky (however, it’s likely you will also be able to see them with a quick step outside from your dinner reservation or hotel room). 

The Cloudveil: Say au revoir to 2021 from Jackson Hole’s newest and in vogue heated rooftop deck at The Cloudveil hotel. This picturesque evening will include dance worthy DJ beats, an open bar, decadent bites, and a raw bar from 10pm-1am. Reserve your $350 ticket in advance by calling the The Cloudveil’s front desk at 307-699-6100. 

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar: Located directly off the town square in downtown Jackson, the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is a must when it comes to celebrating in Wyoming. Saddle up at the bar, get your two-step on and celebrate New Year’s Eve in country style with the Walker Williams Band. No purchase necessary. 

Silver Dollar Bar: Inside the Wort Hotel is the famous Silver Dollar Bar and Grill. This New Year’s Eve, jive, hop, swing and swag your way into 2022 with live music by Paul Cleckler from 8pm-12am. No purchase necessary. 

 

 

Grand Targhee Resort

 

Outdoor Fireworks and Torchlight Parade: If you’re skiing at Grand Targhee Resort or celebrating the new year in Teton Valley, Idaho, then the Grand Targhee torchlight parade and fireworks celebration is your pot of gold. Starting at 4pm, Targhee’s outdoor festivities will kick off with a children’s torchlight parade and finish with fireworks.

The Branding Iron: Join executive chef, Eric Gruber, in a three-course, prix fixe extravaganza. Dinner will be served from 4pm-9pm and tickets will be $75 per person. Call 307-353-2300 ext. 1368 to make your required reservation.

The Trap Bar: The Trap Bar will be partying late into the night to live music by The Cadillacs, a local cover band, from 10pm-1am. There will be a shuttle running from Teton Valley before and after the music. No tickets necessary.
