JHMR-50th

With fall in the air, winter is approaching, and it’s not just any winter – this season is the 50th Anniversary of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) and the resort is kicking it all off with a FREE local movie premiere party.

JHMR invites the Jackson Hole community and all winter enthusiasts to Miller Park on Thursday, September 24, 2015 starting at 5pm. There will be live music by Jeff Crosby and the Refugees, amazing raffle prizes, an interactive art booth, kids activities, food and drink vendors and more. The highlight of the evening will be the official premiere of Born to be Wild. This 30 minute movie is the result of a two-year collaboration between JHMR and Teton Gravity Research with amazing footage from Mike Brown, Brain Farm, Warren Miller and the private collections of others.

Don’t miss this incredible display of Jackson Hole cinematic history, edited to an iconic soundtrack, all while enjoying a cold one with friends and family on the lawn of Miller Park. The party starts at 5pm with a live DJ spinning music until the movie premiere starts at 6:30pm. Jeff Crosby & the Refugees will then take the stage for some post-movie dancing and revelry.

The party also features amazing raffle prizes with chances to win a pair of Rossignol Soul 7 skis (1 of only 100 signature 50th anniversary pairs made), a 50th Anniversary Grand Pass, a limited edition Dakine 50th Anniversary Heli Pro Pack and other great prizes. All are welcome to join in the fun. Come early, bring a blanket, reconnect with your tram line friends and share in the stoke. In the meantime – post your favorite JHMR memories and photos using the hashtag #JH50 and don’t forget to purchase your season passes by August 31st for the best prices.
